Leaning into Intuition: Oracle Cards Workshop

For Girls ages 10-15

With Aki Hirata Quetzalyolotzin

June 13th

2pm - 4pm

  • Curious about oracle cards? Interested in magic, intuition, and learning how to trust yourself in a deeper way?

Join Aunti Aki for a playful, grounded class where oracle cards become a tool for self-discovery, reflection, and building your own inner knowing.

In this class, we’ll explore magic not as something scary or far away, but as a way of paying attention. Together, we’ll learn how oracle cards can help us slow down, notice patterns, and listen to what’s happening inside us and around us.

We’ll talk about what magic is, how to choose and use oracle cards, and why there are no “good” or “bad” cards. Through simple practices, kids will begin to build confidence in their intuition—learning to notice what they feel, what they see, and what they sense over time.

Through play, reflection, and gentle ritual, this class helps kids strengthen self-trust, creativity, and awareness.

This is a space where there’s no right or wrong way—just curiosity, imagination, and learning to trust yourself.

    What they’ll leave with:
✧ A simple, grounded understanding of intuition
✧ Confidence using oracle cards in their own way
✧ Tools to reflect, notice patterns, and trust their inner voice
✧ A playful, empowering relationship to “magic” rooted in awareness

    Items to bring:

    • Favorite, memorable, magical item you cherish to add to the community altar

    • Paper/ journal

    • Pen, pencil, art supply

    • Oracle card if you have one

  • I was born on the mother island of Japan and given the medicine names Quetzelyolotzin and Jewel Moon by my spiritual grandmothers.

I believe your intuition is real—even if no one has taught you how to recognize or trust it yet.

I’ve spent many years studying healing, energy, and different ways of understanding life, but some of the most meaningful lessons have come from simply paying attention—to my body, my feelings, my choices, and what unfolds over time.

I’m also a mom to three very magical beings in human form: one empath, one alien, and one rainbow unicorn 🌈 (they fully agree with those titles).

They like to introduce me as a witch—because to them, it’s the word that makes the most sense. In my own language, I walk the path of a Medicine Woman. Over the years, I’ve been called many things—shaman, witch, priestess, psychic—different words people use when they feel something they can’t quite name.

Living with my children has shown me how unique we all are, and how important it is to trust your own way of seeing and feeling the world.

I don’t believe intuition is something only “special” people have. I believe it’s something we’re all already using—we just may not have the language for it yet.

In this space, I’m not here to tell you what’s true about your life. I’m here to help you notice, question, and trust your own inner signals.
