Holistic Birth Prep Series

Looking for comprehensive birth prep that supports your body and your mind?

This four-week prenatal series combines prenatal yoga, childbirth education, lactation preparation, nutrition guidance, and pelvic floor support - all in one intentional program designed to prepare you for labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Hosted weekly by Gigi, each session starts with simple prenatal yoga to help reduce common pregnancy discomforts and prepare your body for birth.

Special guest experts - Aleks Evanguilidi, Haize Hawke, Kimmy Mills, and Neha Shah - join the series to offer evidence-based education covering:
• Birth education and labor preparation
• Prenatal and postpartum nutrition
• Breastfeeding and lactation foundations
• Pelvic floor awareness and healing for pregnancy and postpartum

This small-group experience helps first-time moms feel confident, informed, and physically prepared for childbirth and early motherhood, while building meaningful community with other expecting women.

  • Aleks Evanguelidi is a midwife of over 25 years, an herbalist, GAPS practitioner, and a devoted nourishment and fertility coach. She guides women on the sacred path of preconception planning and motherhood, healing, and transformation—rooted in the deep belief that wellness begins before conception and thrives through ancestral wisdom.

Her work centers around optimizing preconception health, restoring the microbiome, and reclaiming nourishment as a radical act of self-love and embodied sovereignty. As an initiated priestess and ritualist, Aleks weaves ceremony into daily life and holds women’s circles that honor cyclical living and feminine power.

A fierce advocate for physiological, empowered birth, she has supported thousands of families and helped train over 25 midwives. She is also the co-creator of The Nourished Mother School of Ancestral Traditions—a postpartum doula training school inspired by cultures that prioritize postpartum wellness. The program carries the intention that when new mothers and their families are fully supported, they can thrive in the postpartum window, helping to seed a new culture grounded  thriving mothers and families rooted in ancient, ancestral wisdom.

Through her courses, coaching, and new home at Wuum, Aleks continues to serve women and blossoming families as they prepare their bodies, hearts, and spirits to receive life.

  • Haize is an advanced senior midwife student, assistant midwife, master doula, and spiritual mentor. She supports families through the sacred journey of birth with a holistic, emotionally centered, and spiritually grounded approach. Deeply attuned to the Divine in each person, Haize weaves her creative and intuitive gifts to nurture and strengthen that inner knowing.

She believes pregnancy is not only a physical process, but a profoundly emotional, mental, and spiritual experience. The thoughts and emotions of the birthing parent, the reflections of their partner, and the changes within the body all shape how one chooses to birth—and ultimately, how a new life begins.

Haize offers a safe, sacred space for expecting parents to ask questions, receive guidance, and feel deeply supported. Her birth counseling includes support around preconception, fear in labor or birth, fear of death in labor, birth trauma (yours or your mother's), and postpartum healing.

Haize also works with young women, guiding them in womb wisdom, and serves as a Death Doula—holding space for the sacred transitions that bookend life. In every role, she honors transformation as holy and walks alongside others with compassion, insight, and reverence.

  • Kimmy is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She supports mothers on their feeding journeys, from prenatal through weaning. Kimmy helps mothers navigate the challenges of breastfeeding as well as find the joy and magic in their breastfeeding experience. She works with mothers to quiet the outside noise and tune into themselves, their babies, and their inner knowing.

In addition to working as a lactation consultant, Kimmy is certified in infant bodywork. She is also on the Board of the Milky Way Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to normalizing and uplifting breastfeeding in the US. She is proud to be a co-founder of WUUM and to help create a community in LA that moms and women are eagerly seeking.

When she isn’t holding mamas and babies, you’ll find Kimmy at the beach, running her two kids back and forth to their activities, enjoying time with friends and family, or at Trader Joes.

  • Neha is an orthopedic-trained physical therapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in women’s health and pelvic floor care. She holds a master’s in physical therapy, is a certified yoga therapist, and a certified women’s health coach. Her approach blends clinical expertise with compassionate care to support women in reconnecting with their bodies and reclaiming their well-being.

At WUUM LA in Santa Monica, Neha works with women navigating pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, and sexual health concerns. She also provides expert support through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the transition into menopause.

Neha combines manual therapy, postural and corrective exercises, breath work, visceral mobilization, body mechanics, and myofascial release to address the root of each issue. She creates a safe, respectful space where no topic is off-limits and healing feels personal, collaborative, and empowering.

Outside the clinic, Neha finds balance in nature—watching sunsets, tending to her vegetable garden and cooking for the people she loves.
