Featuring:

Kelly McCall — End-of-Life Midwife and Doula

Suzi Landolphi, LMFT — Trauma-Informed Therapist

Barbara Carbajo, MSN, FNP-BC, CHPN — Hospice and Palliative Nurse Practitioner

We will gather in community to speak honestly about dying—what it actually looks like, what it asks of us, and what it teaches about living. An evening of stories, reflection, and shared practices led by three women who meet death every day: a doula, a therapist, and a hospice nurse practitioner.

Together we’ll explore how body, spirit, and culture intertwine at the bedside—how to accompany rather than control, to wonder rather than fix, and to remember that death belongs to the living, too.

Specific topics include:

  • Becoming less afraid of death and more at home in life.

  • Information on compassionate care at the end of life.

  • Simple grounding tools, words, and rituals to bring comfort and calm at the bedside.

  • Understanding hospice and palliative care, essential paperwork, and how to open supportive family conversations.
